Now THAT is Love!
This morning was a morning like many others - rushing around trying to make lunches, finish hair-do's, get the last minute spelling practice in, finish off the "just found" unfinished homework due today. You know - morning with five kids! My oldest realized that he was running out of time, and the stress level began to rise. Cam started ordering everyone around, got a wee bit (or more) grouchy, and Nate told him he had lost the privilege of the car for the day. Then my dear husband said, "Well, I have to go to work. See you tonight." And he walked out the door. I was left there with an angry teenager, and four more children milling around while I shed a tear for the way things had turned out. (I know, highly productive and intelligent, right?) Then, the door opened again. Nate came back in and started helping everyone finish gathering and get their backpacks on. He had a quiet, calm conversation with Cam, and they both made an agreement about the car. Then he kissed me goodbye, and took the younger ones to school. That extra five minutes, now that is love!!

Oh, yeah!!! It's moments like those that really count. Good job Nathan & I'm so happy for you, Debbie. What a relief that must have been.
