Reporting in...

After school I love to ask the kidlings how their day went, what happened, and what they need to work on. TODAY - Jas got home from school and I asked him how his day was. "It was Epic!", he replied....OK then. I asked what made the day "epic". He said that the mint brownies he made for French class were a huge hit, they watched "Ratatouille" in another class, his team won all three games they played in PE, and the fourth class was just great fun today. A truly EPIC day!

Tiff came in a few minutes later. I asked her how HER day went. She said "It was epicly non-heinous". Huh? "So what made it epicly non-heinous?" I asked. Apparently, she got a sugar cube in science class, and it tasted good, CTE was fun, the art teacher is hilarious, and math was awesome.

So, today was EPIC and NON-HEINOUS. I'm sure glad my children have such extensive vocabularies, and aren't afraid to use them!

Ah, it makes me long for the days when things were awesome and gnarly.
